THESE ARE THE PROJECTS WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON:
BEACON MINISTRIES ORPHANAGE PROJECT
"BEACON of HOPE PROJECT"
To provide ongoing support for food, clothing and supplies.
$35.00 A MONTH WILL CARE FOR ONE CHILD
To provide meals to needy children -
We are presently attempting to feed 100 children, one meal a day, three days a week.
Goal = 2 meals a day, 7 days a week , to all hungry children.
(350 children are presently waiting for this program)
Fact: Almost half of Haiti's population is under 14 years of age
with a median age of 17
Life expectancy in Haiti = 51 years
SCHOOLS - TEACHERS - EDUCATION
"CHILDREN TO SCHOOL PROGRAM"
$90.00 a year ($35.00 in september and $5.00 a month after that)
will provide tuition, uniforms, books
and a morning meal to one student.
We also seek to provide funds for young adults to go to school to learn a trade. For example: Nursing school, sewing classes, engineering, agriculture.
BEACON MINISTRIES ORPHANAGE COMPLEX

We have broken ground for this project on two acres of donated land - the first thing to be built will be the storage depot; to hold food and supplies
TRANSPORTATION
Everything that is purchased in Haiti must also be transported, much of the cost of the projects is in transporting materials.
We are believing the Lord for the provision of a truck for the mission so that we would not have to rely on outside transportation.
There is also an ongoing need for boat motors and repairs.
MISSION TRIPS - OUR EXPENSES
We will not use donations given into this ministry for our personal expenses to Haiti unless they are specifically given for that purpose.
